One leaf usually lasts a full season. Most customers replace once a year for peak effectiveness.

Will it tarnish in the sun and rain?
Copper develops a natural patina over time. This doesn't reduce how well it works—if anything, the older look blends right into the garden.

What if my bird bath is really small or oddly shaped?
The leaf sits flat and only takes up 4 inches. It works in shallow basins, decorative fountains, and even small ponds.

How to use

• Step 1: Rinse the leaf under your garden hose before first use.
• Step 2: Drop it into the bird bath. It will settle at the bottom or float depending on water depth.
• Step 3: Refresh the water every 1-2 weeks as normal. Rinse the leaf if debris collects on top.
