Will my shorter brushes get lost at the bottom?
The lift mechanism raises brushes about 2 inches, making most brushes easy to grab. For very short brushes (under 5 inches), you can add a makeup sponge at the bottom to raise them up.

Does the lid actually stay closed?
Yes. The push-to-close mechanism clicks into place and stays shut until you press it again. It won't pop open from a light bump.

How many brushes can it hold?
Most customers fit 15-20 brushes comfortably. The 4 compartments let you organize by type — foundation, eyes, powder, misc.

Does it need batteries?
No batteries required. The lift mechanism is spring-powered and works with a simple press.

Is the plastic quality good or does it feel cheap?
The holder is made from solid ABS plastic with a smooth finish and stainless steel accents. It feels sturdy in your hands and looks premium on your vanity.
