Is the fabric see-through?
No. The fabric is lined through the bodice and fully opaque in the skirt. You won't need a slip.
I'm petite — will it drag on the ground?
The length is designed to just graze the ankle on most heights between 5'3" and 5'7". If you're under 5'2", expect a slight pool at the foot.
Can I machine wash it?
Yes. Machine wash cold with like colors, hang to dry. Do not iron directly on the print.
Does the smocked waist stretch enough for curvy sizes?
Yes. The smocking has real stretch — not decorative stretch. It's one of the reasons this dress fits across XS to XXL without feeling tight.
