A V neckline, a loose fall from the shoulder and a tassel tie you can pull in or leave undone. Light enough for the hottest part of the day, and finished enough to keep on into the evening.
The three quarter sleeves stop at the forearm, so the dress still reads as covered without adding weight. Leave the tie loose for a straight column, or draw it in to mark a waist.
The print is dense rather than sparse, which hides creases from a day of sitting down and standing up again. Flat sandals keep it easy, a low heel takes it out to dinner.
