No. The inner shorts are cut wider at the hem and sit at mid-thigh, so they stay put through walking, sitting, and stairs.
Will the smocked waist fit if I'm between sizes?
Yes. The smocked band stretches about 4 inches and ties at the front, so it adjusts to your shape on both ends of the size range.
Is the fabric see-through in sunlight?
No. The double-layer ruffle plus the inner shorts give full coverage even in bright sun.
How should I wash it?
Cold machine wash on gentle, hang to dry. The smocking holds its stretch best when air-dried.
