Do I need to oil the molds before using them?
Yes — lightly brush cooking oil on the inside and outside of the mold before pouring your egg. This helps the egg release cleanly and keeps the shape sharp.
Can I use these for pancakes too?
Absolutely. They work great with pancake batter, omelets, and even as cookie cutters for baking. The shapes hold up well with thicker batters.
Will they fit in a standard frying pan?
Each mold is about 3.3 to 3.7 inches across, so you can fit 2–3 molds comfortably in a standard 10-inch pan.
Are the handles really heat-safe?
Yes — the silicone grip stays cool to the touch while cooking. You can lift and reposition the mold without a towel or mitt.
How to use
- Step 1: Preheat your pan on low to medium heat. Place the mold in the pan and let it heat up for about a minute.
- Step 2: Brush a thin layer of cooking oil on the inside and outside of the mold.
- Step 3: Crack an egg directly into the mold. Hold the handle down gently for a few seconds to prevent leaking.
- Step 4: Cook on low heat until the egg is set. Lift the mold by the handle and slide the egg onto a plate.
