Frequently asked questions
Will it stay clear, or yellow over time?
The PVC is UV-treated to resist yellowing. With normal outdoor use, it stays clear through multiple seasons. Wipe it down a few times a year to keep it looking new.
How do I attach it to my pergola or gazebo?
Use the pre-installed aluminum eyelets with bungee cords, rope, or hooks, whatever your structure allows. Most setups take under 20 minutes for one person.
Does it block heat, or just rain?
It mostly blocks rain, wind, and dust. It traps a bit of warmth like a greenhouse effect on cooler days, but it's not insulated like a wall.
What if my space is an odd size?
Pick the size closest to your area, then trim or fold the excess. The reinforced edges hold up to common adjustments without fraying.
How to use
- Step 1: Lay the tarp flat and identify the corners with reinforced panels.
- Step 2: Attach bungee cords or rope through each aluminum eyelet.
- Step 3: Anchor to your pergola, gazebo, or carport frame, starting with the top corners.
- Step 4: Pull taut along the bottom and sides to prevent flapping in wind.
